- Roots: Whispy can control his roots to shoot out of the ground like spikes.
- Size Manipulation: Typically during the second stage of a fight, Whispy will grow larger in size to make himself more imposing. After he's defeated, however, he will revert back to his original size.
- Inhaling: Similar to Kirby himself, Whispy can inhale opponents to trap and damage opponents in his mouth before spitting them back out.

- Mushroom Growing: In Kirby Mass Attack, Whispy Woods' EX boss can grow mushrooms on certain sections of his body to protect that area.
Equipment[]
- Apples: Another of Whispy's primary attacks is growing apples among his leaves to fall off and bounce across the ground, damaging opponents if they make contact.
- Random Enemies: Whispy has also shown the ability to summon random enemies during his boss fights, ranging from Gordos, Waddle Dees, Bronto Burts, and Comos.
Weaknesses[]
- Typically limited in mobility due to keeping himself rooted most of the time.
