"Let there be light! Painful light!" ― Luminous
Luminous is a recurring minor antagonist in the Skylanders series, first appearing in Trap Team within the Sunscraper Spire adventure pack.
Background[]
Being a being of pure light, Luminous always hated the dark, to the point where he was even scared of his own shadow. He was determined to eliminate all darkness from Skylands, a quest that drove him mad with power in the process. During his endeavors, he found the Starlight, a source of light so great that no darkness could escape. However, the Star Light was protected by a Skylander who was also of the Light element, Knight Light. After a lengthy battle between the two, Knight Light was victorious and imprisoned him in the Sunscraper Spire to hopefully never be heard from again. Years later he attempted to escape by disguising himself as the Skylanders' mechanic ally Mags, only for him to once again be defeated in battle and this time be confined to a Traptanium prison.

Attack Potency: Town Level (Capable of damaging the Skylanders, all of which can scale to the original cores, which tanked the Hydra destroying the Core of Light.)
Speed: At least Relativistic (Can keep up with the Skylanders, who can dodge his attacks.), possibly Speed of Light attack speed (Utilizes natural light for his laser-based attacks.)
Durability: Town Level (Can take attacks from the Skylanders, who can all contend with each other.)
Hax: Forcefield Creation, Shape-Shifting, Teleportation
Intelligence: At least Above Average (Was able to trick and manipulate the Skylanders into almost releasing him by disguising himself as Mags, though his personality occasionally shone through his disguise.)

- Starfall: Luminous conjures a crystal meteorite that falls out of the sky.

- Shape-Shifting: An ability Luminous utilized by disguising himself as Mags to lead the Skylanders into releasing him from the Sunscraper Spire.
- Teleportation: Luminous can teleport short distances in his boss fight.
- Forcefield Creation: Luminous can create an energy barrier to block attacks in his boss fight.
