"There are lizards in my pants!" ― Anakaris
Anakaris is a character from the Darkstalkers series of fighting games.
Background[]
Born as the twelfth great pharaoh of Egypt, Anakaris was only twelve years old when he accepted the throne after his father Uros. Foreseeing an untimely end, Anakaris ordered a pyramid to be constructed so that he could be revived centuries later when he was needed. And surely enough, five thousand years later, when the alien overlord Pyron arrived to destroy the Earth, Anakaris was resurrected from his tomb to aid in the battle against him and his forces. After the battle was over, Anakaris returned five thousand years back to his time to fend off the alien invaders.

Powers, Techniques, and Equipment[]
- Cobra Blow: Anakaris shapeshifts his arms into giant snakes before striking forward.
- Hitsugi No Mai: Anakaris summons a coffin to fall onto the opponent from the air.
- Kotogama Daeshi: Anakaris swallows an incoming projectile, which he can then spit back at his opponent.
- Miira Drop: Anakaris shoots out threads from his hands to wrap around the opponent, then shakes them around before smashing them onto the ground, releasing them.
- Naraku No Ana: Anakaris creates a portal beneath the opponent, causing them to fall out of another one from above.
- Ouke No Sabaki: Anakaris sends out a cursed projectile that briefly transforms the opponent into a small, harmless version of themselves if it connects.
- Pharoah Decoration: Essentially a combination of Pharoah Magic, Ouke No Sabaki, and Demitri’s Midnight Bliss, where Anakaris shoots three elemental projectiles, then transforms the opponent into their Midnight Bliss state, then a small harmless version of themselves, and finally smashing a giant sarcophagus on top of them.
- Pharoah Magic: Anakaris shoots three projectiles in succession, the first of which burns the opponent with fire, the second electrocuting the opponent, and the third freezing them before he summons a giant sarcophagus to crush them.
- Pharoah Salvation: Anakaris shoots a barrage of seven projectiles at the opponent, surrounding them with his servant as he burns, poisons, freezes, electrocutes, and transforms them before crushing them with a sarcophagus.
- Pharoah Split: Anakaris splits his body in half from torso and legs, the former of which he controls himself and the latter being controlled by his servant Kahibit. Both halves can attack simultaneously.
- Shinjitsu No Oshie: After blocking an attack, Anakaris summons Kahibit to briefly turn the opponent into a helpless version of themselves.
- Togame No Ana: Anakaris falls to the ground, then splits his body in half to create a portal between them. Anakaris then slips into this portal himself and reappears with them as a giant sarcophagus, which crushes them.
- Warp: Anakaris retreats, then teleports behind the opponent.
Minor Feats[]
Attack Potency/Strength[]

Durability/Endurance[]
Skill/Intelligence[]
Powerscaling[]
Anakaris is ranked as a B+ Class Darkstalker. The class system in the series is used to indicate how powerful a Darkstalker of said class is. From this, it is reasonable to say that other B+ Class Darkstalkers are considered around the same level of power as Anakaris, and that others can be scaled to him. This would include:
- Felicia
- Jon Talbain
- Q-Bee
- Rikuo
Weaknesses[]
- Must conserve his energy. If he uses too much he will need to return to his rest to regain it.
- Is a fairly large target.
