Akame is the deuteragonist of the Akame Ga Kill! series, and the protagonist of the Akame Ga Kill! Zero series.
Background[]
When Akame was a child, her parents sold both her and her sister Kurome to the Empire and they were forced to participate in a cruel exam, being put inside of a forest inhabited by many Danger Beasts, the only goal being to survive and escape the forest. Out of 100 children participating in the exam, Akame and her sister are among the few who manage to survive. Then, they both became two of the most prominent assassins in the Empire, but eventually, Akame left the Empire and joined the Rebel army, where she became a member of their elite assassin squad, Night Raid.

Powers, Techniques, and Equipment[]
Powers[]
- Minor Resistance to Poison/Curses: Akame has been able to resist the poison from Murasame, which allows her to access its trump card. However, the poison still impaired her permanently, so she's not immune to it.
Equipment[]
- One-Cut Killer: Murasame: Akame's Teigu. It's a highly powerful blade that injects a cursed poison into the target's body with just one cut. This poison travels through the body until it reaches the heart, which causes the target to die instantly.
- Little War Horn: Murasame's Trump Card. In order to activate it, Akame needs to discard her humanity and harm herself using Murasame's poison. Doing this allows her to access a heightened form that empowers her physically.
Key[]
Base State | Post-Drug Boost | Little War Horn
It should be noted that Akame's post-drug boost state should be considered her base form's strength at that point of the story, and Little War Horn is her current base form.
