<p>Ah...</p><p>Well in that case I think I’d have to give it to Spyro.</p><p>A lot of what Link has in this incarnation, Spyro has too.</p><p>Dragon Time counters Stasis, The Shadow Stone counters Ancient Arrows, but Spyro has his dark form with atomization, and transmutation, which Link can’t really stop.</p><p>Dragon Time in general is also more useful due to having actual AOE.</p>

<p>Spyro probably can win (I swear I'm not biased)</p><p>His flight would allow him to avoid most of Link's projectiles and he has powers that are better versions of Link's (Stasis vs Dragon Time) and he generally just has more variety</p><p>Speaking of his flight, seeing as most of Link's weapons are for melee, Spyro would be able to keep his distance and use his aforementioned variety to his advantage by spanning ranged attacks until Link closes the distance with his Shield or hits him with an arrow, in which case Spyro can Dragon Time and back off or use one of his many abilities also for melee (such as Ice Tail, which freezes enemies)</p><p>The Furies are also a formidable weapon and if Spyro enters his Dark form, I'm willing to believe blasts from Dark Aether can eventually dismantle the Hylian Shield</p><p>If not, he still has his other advantages</p>
